If you have been wrongfully billed for a transaction where the equivalent amount of Crypto was not sent to the address you specified, or if you’ve been billed and your Crypto balance has not changed please get in touch with our Support Team via our live chat or by emailing email@example.com to verify eligibility for a refund. We will investigate and rectify your balance or issue a refund within 72 hours if due.
If you would like to reverse or refund a successful transaction, go to My Account and click on the deposit ID of the transaction you’d like to reverse. We will give you the option to submit a Refund Request provided that –
– your available Crypto balance is greater than the amount of the Crypto bought during the original deposit
– your request is submitted within 24 hours of the original deposit
Should your request for a refund be genuine we will process a refund you in full within five (5) business days. Should you not hear from us within that time, please get in touch.
No refund requests will be entertained for requests which do not meet the above criteria, or for reasons deemed to be frivolous including – but not limited to:
- No longer needing the purchased Crypto
- Changing one’s mind after the purchase
- Wanting to purchase a different amount
Instacoins is under no obligation to offer refunds for any transferred or transacted funds, or for a transaction where the equivalent amount of Crypto was sent to the address you specified. On the occasion that Instacoins does issue a refund, the transaction should be received within five (5) business days, however may be subject to other delays. Instacoins reserves the right to charge a related credit/debit refund fee on such transactions.
Generally, Crypto transactions may be irreversible, and, accordingly, losses due to fraudulent or accidental transactions or incorrect wallet addresses may not be recoverable.
The company has a set minimum transaction volume or size threshold. For all transactions funded via bank wire (or for any other method where Instacoins receives fiat currency in advance from its clients) should the amount of fiat currency received be less than such minimum volume or minimum size threshold, Instacoins will not process the transaction and will not exchange such fiat currency into the equivalent in Crypto. Consequently, you may wish to top-up your transaction with more fiat currency in order for the minimum size or minimum volume to be reached. Should you choose to request the fiat currency back, we may have to charge you a fee which will set-off against your original deposit.
Where you send Fiat funds via Skrill/Neteller from an account that does not match the name and/or email of your Instacoins account, Instacoins will not be able to process the transaction since it would be classified as a third-party payment. In this case, Instacoins will send back the Fiat funds and apply a processing fee which shall be deducted from the amount being sent back. The fee applied will be 5.5% of the transaction value in fiat. Foreign exchange charges may also apply.
